Lamezia by the sea

Lamezia is a town by the sea and covers an immense coastline in the south of the country. Surrounded by white sands and unspoiled beaches both to the west (Tyrrhenian Sea) and to the east, there are few undiscovered places that can compare to its beauty.
Various ruins – castles, watchtowers and temples – that attest to its rich history still stand in town and are worth taking an excursion to. Located in the center of Calabria, it has an international airport and easy access to all the neighboring towns. Stay in one of the local resorts and head out to experience the rest of the area, from the forests and lakes in the mountains up north or the other interesting cities nearby.
The beachfront is, of course, the most interesting destination for tourists. With glimmering beaches and breathtaking rock formations, you’ll be enthralled by your mere presence in the area. With the party atmosphere that permeates the town on summers and weekends, there’s nary a time wasted while you regale in its wanton splendor.
